Abstract
Abstract: In this study, cadmium (II), copper (II), lead (II) and zinc (II) levels of Marmara lake are determined by Differential Puls Polarographic (DPP) Method. These metal ions were measured in water, bottom sediments and plants taken from Marmara Lake in Aegean Region of Turkey. The collected plants were Phragmites australis, Carex otrubue, Ceratophyllum sp., Valisneria sp., Ranunculus sphaerospermus, Myriophyllum sp. All of the samples were measured polarographically after preparation of samples by different techniques. Experimental results obtained on five replicate samples. It was applied Pearson correlation between water-plants, sediments-plants and sediment–water systems. The results compared with old papers concerning Turkish river samples. Keywords:Heavy metals, sediment, water pollution, aquatic plant.

Abstract
Abstract: This paper aims at valorising an artisanal honey based alcoholic beverage from northern Cameroon (Africa). The studied process production involved most of stage required for production of mead with difference in starter preparation and handling which include a step of drying and smoking. The must preparation also present light difference with the one of wine production as there’s no activator neither extra nutrients added. But a step of preparation of a so called “Mbii dong” is necessary. “Mbii dong” is a mixture of diluted honey with hot pepper or sometime spices. Some of the accessed physicochemical parameters which include pH, total titrable acidity, residual sugar and total polyphenols indicate similarities with that of mead. It also has to highlight the relatively high alcohol (around 15.4±0.6%) content of the beverage. The recorded values of physicochemical components as alcoholic, volatile acidity, polyphenols… may confirm the fact that a part of festivities, “kuri” can be used as medicines. Keywords: Honey, mead, Africa, wine, fermentation, drink.

Abstract
Abstract: In three years of field trials (2009-2011) carried out in parallel in the experimental fields of the Dobroudja Agricultural Institute – General Toshevo (DAI) and the Department of Crop Science, Agronomy Faculty at the Agricultural University – Plovdiv (AU) tested two new varieties of triticale – Kolorit and Accord. Experiments are included after predecessor sunflower, using the fractional plots in four replications. The size of the experimental area is 10 m2. In the investigation fertilization is in the ratio N:P:K=12:6:6 and N0P0K0 (control). Analyzed the influence of fertilization and environment of the region on the formation of grain yield (GY) and some quality parameters – mass of 1000 grains (TKW) and specific weight (TestW) in the new triticale varieties. Studied triticale varieties Kolorit and Accord are formed higher productivity for the environment in the region of Dobroudja Agricultural Institute – General Toshevo. The mineral fertilization in the ratio N:P:K=12:6:6 has a greater effect on agro-environmental conditions in the area of the Department of Crop Science, Agronomy Faculty at the Agricultural University – Plovdiv and results in a greater increase in the productivity of Kolorit and Accord. The new triticale variety Kolorit is characterized with maximum values of the studied parameters – grain yield (GY), mass of 1000 grains (TKW) and specific weight (TestW) in the environment of Plovdiv and under environment of DAI Kolorit has a high grain yield (GY), mass of 1000 grains (TKW) and Accord – with a maximum specific weight (TestW). Keywords: triticale – region – yield – fertilization.

Abstract
Abstract: An experiment was conducted at Sugar Crop Research Institute (SCRI), Mardan to investigate the population dynamics of insect pests on different varieties of sugar beet. The results revealed that Kawa Terma was the most resistant variety to aphids (Aphis fabae (Scop)) (3.96), KWS. 9212 to armyworm (Spodoptera spp.) (3.17), budworms (Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner)) (1.43), cutworm (Agrotis ipsilon (Hfn)) (2.13), grasshopper (Chrotogonus trachyptrus (Blanch)) (4.84) and semilooper (Anomis sabulifera (Guenee)) (3.71). While the most susceptible variety was Tenor to aphids (Aphis fabae (Scop)) (19.72), armyworm (Spodoptera spp.) (21.36), budworm (Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner)) (11.31), cutworm (Agrotis ipsilon (Hfn)) (15.87), grasshopper (Chrotogonus trachyptrus (Blanch)) (21.06) and semilooper (Anomis sabulifera (Guenee)) (21.64). SM. 1395/Atlanta was the highest yielding variety while KWS. 9212 were reported to be the best quality treatment. Keywords: Rice, Rural Women, Iran.

Abstract
Abstract: This study was conducted to detection fungi associated with some spice were selling in local market such as Cumin, Anise, Cinnamon, Sesame, Fennel, Black pill, Nutmeg, Coriander, Black pepper, Turmeric, Ginger, Galangal, Caraway, Cardamom. Results were recorded twenty four fungus belonging to fifteen genus. The most predominant fungal genera encountered were Aspergillus spp, Penicillium spp, Alternaria spp, and Fusarium spp. Yeasts were also frequently recovered, but not identified. All fungi were isolated on Agar plate method than Blotter paper. The highly number of isolated fungi was recorded in Coriander but the lowest observed in Cumin. Keywords: Spice, fungi, Plate Agar, Blotter paper, Libya.
